CHRIS DREW et TOBY MAY sont 2 personnalités tangentes qui ont su fusionner leurs visions artistiques pour former CATCHA. Après un premier album flamboyant – électrique (Lotus Records 2007), le duo d’origine britannique a éprouvé le besoin de retrouver l’essence de son art et d’y consacrer un album acoustique autoproduit (Catchamusic 2009). Pour mieux inviter le public à entrer dans la confidence, CATCHA ont choisi cette approche simple et directe qui préserve la nature intime et délicate de leurs textes et mélodies. Les 12 titres de ce nouvel opus intitulé « 2 » reflètent un monde intérieur où les sentiments, angoisses et fantasmes enfouis au plus profond de chacun de nous, prennent la parole. Les arrangements additionnels apportent aux 2 voix et 2 guitares la puissance et la volupté dévoilant toute sa saveur à cet album acoustic-pop. Le single « Cold As Stone » résume l’univers CATCHA.

Chris Drew and Toby May are 2 opposites who fused their unique artistic vision to become CATCHA. After their first flamboyant electric album (Lotus Records 2007), the British duo was compelled to dig deeper to reach the true essence of their art, and so, wrote and auto-produced an acoustic album (Catchamusic 2009). In order to give the audience the clearest possible insight, CATCHA chose this simple and direct approach to retain the delicate and intimate nature of their lyrics and melodies.
